Projected sell-out for Lighthouse Gala

In less than three weeks the Lighthouse Children's Theatre, El Dorado Springs, will roll out the red carpet to 360 guests traveling from all four corners of the country to join the many ticket holders from the surrounding area. With this year's guest of honor being one of the entertainment industry's most respected, well known and admired award winning actors, John Goodman, it is not surprising that the Third Annual Lighthouse Gala has become the hottest ticket in town. "The response to this year's fundraising event has been nothing less than impressive," stated LCT Executive Director Lynne Hedrick. "Although seating is limited, tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling (417) 876-3712." Ticket prices are $125 for an individual and $200 per couple. Proceeds from the gala go toward the Lighthouse's capital campaign.

The "Lights on Broadway" themed event will be held where Lighthouse productions have been performed bi-annually since 2008. On April 30, the First Baptist Church's Family Life Center at 500 S Main in El Dorado Springs will be transformed into a red-carpet, Broadway event setting. Hedrick commented, "When we received confirmation of Mr. Goodman's appearance, our top priority was to secure a space large enough with provisions to accommodate the many we knew would want to attend. We are grateful to the members of the First Baptist Church in El Dorado Springs for supporting the mission of the Lighthouse Children's Theatre by opening their doors and hearts to our organization. The FBC Family Life Center will provide the perfect venue for our event."
