Basketball camp coming soon

The Nevada Lady Tiger Basketball Camp will be held May 31-June 3 in Wynn Gymnasium at the Nevada High School.

There will be two sessions each day: 8:30 - 10 a.m. for girls who will be in grades 3,4 and 5 next fall and 10 - 11:30 for girls who will be in grades 6,7,8 next year.

The camp will be taught by Nevada Lady Tiger Head Coach Brent Bartlett and assistant coaches Jenny Allard and Clay Wheeler.

The cost for the camp is $30, which includes a camp tee shirt.

The camp will cover important basketball fundamentals and skills and will include individual and group drills in areas such as dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, teamwork and other important skills.

All participants will receive a camp tee shirt, as well as have a chance to win daily contests and prizes. The coaching staff will also select a Camper of the Day for each for the grades 3-8.
