The Sheldon Panthers finished strongly in Saturday's district track competition. Tra Hart placed fourth in the boys' 100 with a time of 11.9, and he placed fourth in the 200 with a time of 24.3. Kasey Jones placed fourth in the boy's mile with a time of 5:01, and third in the two-mile with a time of 11:22.

Chelsea Laning placed second in the girls' shot put with a throw of 30 feet, 1 inch. The girls' 4 x 800-meter relay placed fourth with a time of 11:30.

Cass-Midway won both of the team titles Saturday in the Class 1, District 3 track meet at Cleveland, Mo.
