Sheldon marks graduation

Sheldon School Board President Bill Nance awards National Honor Society member Eric Blanchard his diploma at the Vernon County R-8 school's Sunday graduation ceremonies. Eight of the 13 class members were Honor Society graduates.

Scholastically tops at Sheldon High School are valedictorian Avery Casey, left, who plans to become an agronomist, and salutatorian Ali Textor, who will study to be a doctor. Avery graduated with a 4.16 grade point average and Ali with a 4.8.
