Awesome picture of the MILO FIRE DEPARTMENT water games. Maybe those kids will just be Area Fire Fighters. As I recall, Nevada Fire Department, does not participate in the Bushwhacker water games.

Gotta love the negativity of our bloggers! The Bushwacker days was awesome this year. Many thanks to the volunteers who worked so hard to put it together and make it an enjoyable weekend for the community. Frank and Pat Arnold should get an award for their work!

It was a very entertaining BW Days this year. The Escape Artist was much more exciting that I had thought he would be. Great job Mario!

Also, Frank and Pat and the whole BW Committee deserve a huge "Thanks". They were understaffed this year, and still managed to get the show going without a problem. I have a feeling they will all be sleeping in this week!

Pat and Frank did a good job. As someone who has participated in many festivals in many towns, I can tell you, they are all hurting. 15 years ago Butler had one bigger than ours and it no longer exists. As the economy has tanked, people no longer have the money to spend. If the economy doesn't turn around Bushwhacker Days will find it hard to continue. I hope it survives but time will tell.
