KCPL requests fee change
JEFFERSON CITY--KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission which contains the company's annual fuel adjustment clause true-up for the period of March 1, 2010, through Feb. 28, 2011.
According to the company, the true-up reflects an overcollection of approximately $683,699 from customers in the MPS service area (Kansas City) and an overcollection of approximately $251,837 from customers in its L&P service area (St. Joseph). The company seeks to have the Commission include those dollars in the next 12 month recovery period beginning with its September 2011 billing month.
The PSC staff will analyze the information filed by KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company and make a recommendation to the Commission no later than July 29, 2011. The Commission must then act to approve, reject or suspend KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company's true-up filing by Aug. 28.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than July 21, 2011, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, MO 65102-0360.
