Local man rides for Joplin relief

Gerrad Steuck, a local farrier, took it upon himself to do a ride for relief, riding his horse, BeBe, from Nevada to Joplin to earn donations for every mile he rode, for tornado relief in Joplin.

Friends and long-term customers of his, who anonymously submitted the photo above, saw a photo of him later and wondered why so few knew about this long ride, and he told them "The only people who neeed recognition are the families from Joplin. They're the survivors."
