A scene from the Walker Fun Days parade, the Vietnam Veterans float, which earned to title of Best Decorated Float in the event, Saturday, with the Walker 4-H coming in second in that category. The 4-H also received a ribbon for having the largest participating group. In the Odd and Unique Contest, Hillbilly Cadillac with Kyle Schmidt and Dirk Jennings earned first place; and Brandon Jennings' entry earned second-place honors. Antique Vehicles and Overall Trophy Winner was Charles Foreman with his 1953 Army Jeep; and Katie Sanderson won second place with a little covered wagon. Also participating were some horse entries, fire trucks, and vehicles carrying the royalty winners. Most of the parade entries had to ride in the rain -- but the parade went on despite the rain and smaller-than usual crowds.
