August was National Inventors Month and the students at St. Mary's School in Nevada celebrated by creating new inventions of their own. Students in first through fifth grades put their creativity to work for their inventions. There were many new inventions including turtle shoes, a do-it-all scooter, a kitten house, "the Tower of Gum," and a homework cat. Other inventions consisted of a school bot, a shoe taxi, a pool and house for a dog, a cleaning unicorn, a Lego organizer, springy shoes, a super hero outfit, an automatic shower door, and a robot pencil. Students pictured above, with their inventions, are Emma Eber, Madison Murphy, Denise Barnard, Richard Eber and Sylvia Rainey.
