Vernon Countians grow enormous sweet potato

Kiersten Palmer and Cierra Bear show off the huge sweet potato grown in a garden east of Nevada. Despite this summer's harsh, dry weather, the root vegetable grew to have a girth of 23 inches; the sweet potato is 5 1/5 inches tall and 10 inches wide.
