Tuesday, January 17, 2012

The Nevada City Council will be discussing several issues during tonight's meeting in the council chambers at 7 in the Public Safety Building, 120 S. Ash Street.

In addition to holding the second readings of ordinances to approve the funding for the apron improvements at the Nevada Municipal Airport and accepting the bid from Waste Corporation of America for 2012 trash services and considering bids for extrication equipment for the Fire Department and three new police cars, the council will be discussing the city's street lights with Vic Taylor, KCP&L.

They will also get an update on the IT department and discuss possible changes in the term limits on the city's various boards and commissions.
