Middle school team falls to CJ

The Nevada Middle School eighth grade A boys basketball team lost to Carl Junction 54-11 on Tuesday. Nevada fell to 1-3.

Levi Palmer and Derrick O'Dell led the Tigers with four points apiece.

The Tigers play at home next Monday night at 5:30 vs. Lamar.

The Nevada B team lost 31- 20 to Carl Junction.

The eighth grade A team also lost to McDonald County 40-21 last week. Andy Heathman scored seven.

The B team lost 42-24.

The seventh grade boys defeated Mac County in both the A game and the B games last week.

The A team won 42-30 and the B team won 31-18.
