Four arraigned on 14 Wildlife Code violations
Four Vernon County residents were arraigned before Judge Neal Quitno on a total of 14 different violations of the Wildlife Code of Missouri during court proceedings held in the associate circuit court on Monday.
Kaleb W. Triplett, 34, of Deerfield, Mo. was arraigned on seven class A misdemeanor counts of pursuing/taking/killed/po-sessed or disposed of wildlife illegally and two class A misdemeanor counts of fraudulently securing a certificate license or privilege from this state.
Caleb Lee Martin, 22, of Nevada, Mo. was arraigned on three class misdemeanor charges of pursuing/taking/killed/po-ssessed or disposed of wildlife illegally and one class A misdemeanor count of fraudulently securing a certificate license or privilege from this state.
Devin Dilly, 22, of Deerfield, Mo. and Robbin J. Hamilton, 42, of Nevada were both arraigned on a single count of pursuing/taking/killed/po-ssessed or disposed of wildlife illegally.
Hamilton pleaded guilty to her charge and the court fined her $250 plus costs.
The other three defendants pleaded not guilty and needed time to obtain a lawyer, so the court scheduled a pretrial hearing for all three men on March 29.
