Schell City man injured in Sunday crash

A Schell City man was injured in a crash that occurred on Highway AA five miles south of Schell City, at approximately 3:10 a.m., Sunday, according to a report from the the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Steven E. Minor, 28, of Schell City suffered moderate injuries when he fell asleep behind the wheel of the 2003 Jeep Cherokee he was driving northbound on AA. The vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned, the patrol said.

Minor was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to the Nevada Regional Medical Center by ambulance. The vehicle was left at the scene at the request of the owner.
