Weather forces schedule changes

NEVADA--Cottey College was scheduled to host Labette Community College on Wednesday afternoon. But the doubleheader was called off due to the recent rain.

No make-up date was announced. Cottey Athletic Director Dave Ketterman said the date might not be made up.

The weather has caused another schedule change, as well. The Nevada High School boys golf team was set to begin the season today at Neosho. Nevada Coach Brian Leonard said the event has been pushed back to Friday.

Nevada's baseball team is scheduled to host Joplin today at 4:30. That date is doubtful, but had not yet been canceled at press time.
