Joshua R. Westerhold -- Kelsey J. Hancock

Kathy (Hancock) Claflin and Vincent Ashworth of Sheldon, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Jo Hancock, to Joshua Roy Westerhold, son of Jack and Renea Westerhold of Richards. Kelsey is the granddaughter of Tom and Janie Claflin of Sheldon. Joshua is the grandson of Don Steck, Rich Hill.

Kelsey is a 2007 graduate of Sheldon High School and a 2011 graduate of Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Okla., with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She is employed by Murphy Family Ventures.

Joshua is a 2007 graduate of Nevada High School. In 2009 he received an Associate of Science in Law Enforcement from Missouri Southern State University, Joplin, and in 2010 he graduated from the Missouri Southern State University Law Enforcement Academy. He is employed by the Nevada Police Department.

The couple will exchange vows on June 9, 2012, in a 6 p.m. outdoor wedding ceremony in Sheldon.
