Ruby Lee Schenker

Ruby Lee Schenker, 82, daughter of George E. and Sophia J. (Fischer) Harkrader, was born June 6, 1929, near Butler, Mo. She passed away at Heartland of Willow Lane Nursing Home in Butler, Mo., surrounded by her family on April 21, 2012.

Survivors are husband, Norvin Schenker of Prairie City, Mo.; children, Patricia Tippie (Dwayne) of Rockville, Mo., Juanita Cragin (Mike) of Nevada, Glenda Smith (Steven) of St. Louis, Mo., and Lyle Schenker (Peggy) of Prairie City, Mo.; and sisters-in-law, Ruby Elliot of Olathe, Kan., and Lorna Mae Harkrader of Papinville, Mo.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 24, at Zion Lutheran Church in Prairie City, Mo., with the Revs. Johannes Brann and Michael Manz officiating. Visitation will be Mon., April 23, at Hill & Son Funeral Home in Appleton City, Mo., (660) 476-2135. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Prairie City, Mo. Memorial contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society, Zion Lutheran Church or Heartland Hospice (Butler).
