James and Betty Christian -- 60 years

James and Betty Christian of Wichita, Kan., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at Haysville Community Building, 130 E. 2nd St. and Hays St.

James Christian and Betty Davis were married Feb. 9, 1952, in Huntsville, Ark. James is from Fulton, Kan., and Betty is from Fort Scott, Kan.

Their children and grandchildren will be hosts: sons, Mike (Trudy) Christian, Bob (Lori) Christian, daughter Brenda (Daryl) Cress; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren with two more coming.
