Season ends for Cottey softball

UNION, Mo. -- The season came to an end for the Cottey College softball team on Friday with two losses at the Region 16 Division II Softball Tournament.

Cottey lost its opening round game 5-3 to Mineral Area College.

With the season on the line, Cottey lost 10-2 in the consolation round.

No other information on the two games was available at press time.

Cottey ends the season at 2-18 for Coach Shelli Stanley. The team won two more games this season than it won last year.
