NEVC students attend FBLA conference

Members of the Northeast Vernon County Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Chapter recently attended the 2012 Missouri FBLA Leadership Conference held on April 22-24, in Columbia, Mo.

FBLA is a career and technical student organization for all high school students participating in business programs. More than 2,750 members and advisers representing 426 chapters throughout the state met to elect state officers, transact business of the state chapter, participate in leadership and career workshops, and compete in the state leadership awards program.

Those attending were Danielle McCollum, Mikelah Moyer, Erin Kitsmiller, Shelby Wilkins, and Spencer Hoagland. Hoagland and McCollum won seventh place in desktop publishing at the event.
