Langford second in pole vault at MIAA Outdoor Meet

Missouri Southern State University sophomore Vanessa Langford, a Bronaugh graduate, finished second in the women's pole vault by clearing 11-5 at the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships last weekend in Emporia, Kan.

The Lions had three of the top four finishers in the women's pole vault at the event.

Melanie Bower won the conference title by clearing 12-4.75. Langford was second and Ashleigh McFarland was fourth.

The Lions finished third in the women's team standings.
