The Nevada Lady Tigers tennis team got back into action at home Tuesday night and gave head coach Sam Short far less than favorable results against Carthage.

Short's top singles competitor, Regan Kimbrough, was the only member of the Nevada roster to pick up a win on the day as she took down Carthage's Morgan Guidie, 8-3. Carthage went on to take the rest of the singles matches by the final scores of 8-3, 8-2, 8-1, 8-3 and 8-4.

The story was much the same in doubles competition as Carthage took all three matches by the final scores of 9-7, 8-2 and 8-2.

The Lady Tigers will take a short break before getting back into competition on Friday, when they head to the year's first tournament in Warrensburg at 9 a.m.
