R-5 board meets with architect for performing arts center

Elliott Hunter, from Hunter & Millard Architects, talk to the Nevada R-5 Board of Education during a work session Thursday afternoon about the features of the district's performing arts center. Construction of the performing arts center and the multi-purpose building are expected begin about Oct. 1, and with cooperative weather the multi-purpose building expected to be finished in Aug. 2013.

We found something this superintendent has experience at spending money on large building projects.
