Rich Hill football falls to Adrian

ADRIAN, Mo. -- Adrian's defense sacked Rich Hill High School quarterback Jason Thompson six times and the Blackhawks shut out the Tigers by final score of 41-0 Friday night in a Western Missouri Conference matchup.

The Blackhawks scored the first touchdown of the night on a short run by Austin Corley with 2 minutes left in the first quarter and added two more on runs by Briar Corbin during the second quarter to take a 21-0 lead at the half. Adrian scored twice in the third quarter -- once on an 11-yard run by Logan Tallman and again with a 40-yard pass from Austin Pitts to Rian Lewis and completed the scoring with a touchdown run by Logan Jennings with just under 5 minutes left in the game.

With the loss. Rich Hill fell to 0-4 on the season and is set to head back on the road Friday to take on Osceola at 7 p.m.
