Groundwork starts on NHS expansion

Work has started on the new, nearly $5 million performing arts center and multipurpose building project at Nevada High School. A groundbreaking ceremony was conducted Oct. 24, and Crews are currently bring in dirt to level the site and the concrete pad should be poured in the next three weeks.
