Eighth grade boys fall to Webb City

The Nevada Middle School eighth grade boys' basketball teams hosted Webb City Monday night.
Nevada lost the A game by a final score of 37-28 as Tyler Ketterman led the offensive effort with 10 points. Patrick Ferry stole the show on the defensive end of the floor when he added a team-high seven rebounds and three blocked shots.
Webb City completed the sweep with a 39-36 victory in the B game. Cameron Diaz led the offensive effort for the Tigers when he scored a team-high 29 points and Payton Bright added five blocked shots and seven rebounds.
"Both teams played well for the first game against a very good team," Tigers head coach Tyson Beshore said.
Next on the schedule for Nevada is tomorrow, when they join the seventh graders to host McDonald County.
