Nevada girls fall to El Dorado Springs

EL DORADO SPRINGS -- A strong second half carried the El Dorado Springs Lady Bulldogs to a 61-44 win over Nevada's Lady Tigers Friday night at El Dorado Springs High School.
Nevada took a six-point lead into the locker room at halftime after sophomore Morgan McNeley made a 3-pointer just before the end of the second quarter. The Lady Bulldogs responded by outscoring Nevada, 34-11, during the second half -- including an 11-2 third quarter -- to improve to 13-6 on the season.
Four Lady Bulldogs scored in double figures, led by Kameron Schaaf with 12 points. Tori Dahmer and Kelsey McCall scored in double figures for the Lady Tigers as Dahmer finished with 13 points and McCall had 12.
With the loss, Nevada fell to 11-9 on the season.
El Dorado Springs also won the junior varsity game, 50-32.
The Lady Tigers are to host McDonald County for Courtwarming, Friday night, at Nevada High School.
