Middle school track meet rescheduled

The Nevada Middle School track team was scheduled to open the season with a practice track meet Thursday afternoon, which was to feature teams from Nevada, Butler and El Dorado Springs.

Thanks to the winter storm that moved into the area on Thursday, however, that meet has been postponed. According to an email from Nevada High School assistant track coach Marsha Hooper, the meet is now set for 4 p.m., Monday, weather permitting.
