Nevada Tigers baseball postponed

The Nevada Tigers baseball team will have to wait a little longer to get the 2013 season started.

After being forced to call off two games last week, the Tigers have been forced to do it yet again. The Tigers were scheduled to head out on the road Monday to take on Fort Scott, but due to the winter weather that moved through the area over the weekend, that contest has been indefinitely postponed.

Nevada High School athletic director Kevin McKinley said a makeup date was still unknown and getting a new date scheduled could be tricky since there will be no umpires available on seven potential makeup dates.
