Bob Beisly III

Bob T. Beisly III appeared in the Vernon County courtroom of Associate Circuit Judge Neal Quitno on Thursday for a preliminary hearing on several felony and misdemeanor charges filed over the course of several months in 2012.

Beisly was charged in Vernon County on June 6 with theft of property or services worth at least $500 but less than $25,000, a Class C felony. On July 3, three more felonies were filed against him, including first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child and felonious restraint.

In September 2012, Beisly also was charged with delivery or possession of a controlled substance at a county/private jail except with a written prescription, a Class C felony, and in October he was charged with the Class A misdemeanor of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

Beisly appeared with his attorney, Brandon Fisher, and waived his right to a preliminary hearing on all counts. He was bound over to circuit court, where he will appear before Presiding Judge James R. Bickel for arraignment April 4.

Beisly was transported to the county from the Missouri Department of Corrections, where he was already serving a four-year sentence for probation violations in Vernon County and felony charges in Bates County, stemming from an incident July 4 of near Rich Hill.
