Nevada baseball game times changed

Thursday, April 11, 2013

The Nevada Tigers baseball team has seen a number of changes to its schedule throughout the course of the still-young 2013 season and that trend has continued once again.

The Tigers are still scheduled to face Seneca today and Pittsburg tomorrow, weather and field conditions permitting, but Nevada High School athletic director Kevin McKinley announced in two separate emails Wednesday and Thursday that the times for both of those games have been changed. Today's game against Seneca was originally scheduled to be played at 5 p.m., at Lyons Stadium, but has been pushed up half an hour to 4:30 p.m.

In an effort to avoid conflicts with ACT testing, Saturday's game against Pittsburg has been moved from 11 a.m., to 2 p.m., at Lyons Stadium
