Woman hurt in wreck

An El Dorado Springs woman was injured in a single vehicle accident that happened in the southeastern corner of Vernon County early Saturday morning.

Gracie R. Parrish, 19, received serious injuries when the southbound 1995 Chevrolet S10 pickup she was driving ran off the roadway and overturned.

The crash happened about 5:50 a.m. On NN Highway, three miles south of Montevallo, according to a report by Missouri Highway Patrol Trooper Art Torbeck.

Parish was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
