United Way accepting requests from agencies

The United Way of Vernon County is accepting budget requests for the upcoming 2013 United Way campaign.

Requests must be submitted by noon, July 19, to be considered as a member agency for this year's drive said Peggy Tedlock, executive secretary of United Way of Vernon County. Requests should include a brief history of the organization, approximately how many people are served in Vernon County, the amount requested and a detailed summary of how United Way money will be used.

Requests should be mailed to the United Way of Vernon County, 201 East Cherry, Suite 203, Nevada, MO 64772.
