Farmer's Daughters win ASA softball tournament

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The Hume Farmer's Daughters took first place in the ASA VIP Kansas City Metro fastpitch softball tournament. The Farmer's Daughters won their first game over the Olathe Bears by a final score of 6-4. The next game was against the Blue Angels and Hume kept the momentum, taking the victory by a final score of 8-4. That win moved the Farmer's Daughters into the championship game against the Fire and Ice team and Hume took the victory by a final score of 11-1 to secure the tournament title.
