No, you are not seeing things and no, you haven't been out in the sun too long. Well, maybe you have, but it is not effecting your eyesight in this case. That really is Santa Claus throwing out the first pitch at the Griffons game Thursday with the Sedalia Bombers. No, it wasn't a stunt to convince game-goers that it really wasn't in the mid-90's at game time. It was part of the Vernon County Ambulance District's Christmas in July toy drive -- to collect new toys for the the ddistrict's annual program to provide toys for area children.
