Jenise and Jerry Burch -- 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Burch of Walker are observing their 50th wedding anniversary today, July 27, 2013. Jerry Burch and the former Jenise Kennedy were married July 27, 1963, in the home of the bride's parents, Raymond and Helen Kennedy.

The Burches have lived in the present area since 1970, and have resided in rural Walker all of their lives, except for their college years, when they lived in Springfield.

Jerry is a self-employed farmer and government consultant, who enjoys cardinal baseball games, antiquing, and family activities. Jenise, a teacher, enjoys genealogy, antiquing and family activities.

The couple's children are Jered and Crystal Burch of Walker, and Laura and Josh Willson of Colleyville, Texas.
