John Patrick Heim

John Patrick Heim, 75, of Sheldon, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at his home. John was born July 8, 1938, in Mountain Grove, Mo., to Omar Ernest Heim and Mary Ann Muse Heim.

John was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1956--62. He loved to drive a truck and made his living as an over-the-road driver. John was a member of the American Legion in Nevada.

Survivors include three children, Yvonne Graham, Sheldon, Mo., Catherine Heim, of the Ozarks, Daniel Heim, Nevada; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Tresha.

Graveside services with military funeral honors will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 9, at Moore Cemetery in Nevada, with the Rev. Terry Mosher officiating. Family will receive friends from now until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
