Three new teachers will be sharing their love of learning with students in Bronaugh.
Cory Teal will be the school's new band director. Alisha Jones will teach seventh through 12th grade math. Erica Wooldridge will teach sixth grade.
Teal, who graduated from Missouri State University in 2011, said he became involved in music in high school and his band director had a big influence on him.
"His teaching style stuck with me, and I'm trying to model my teaching after him," he said.
He said he loves being able to teach music students on a day to day basis.
"It's really exciting to see how excited they always are to learn new things. I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to work with the kids and to have the opportunity to work here in Bronaugh," he said.
Jones, who will graduate Missouri Southern State University in December, said she enjoys seeing the light of understanding on students' faces.
She said she looks forward to being able to see students progress.
"My favorite thing about Bronaugh is that it's a small community and I can work one on one with the students. I also have the students seventh through 12th grade which allows me to build a bond with them," Jones said.
Wool-dridge graduated from Missouri Valley College and taught kindergarten last January through May at NEVC.
She said she really enjoys getting to know students personally as well.
"I guess I really just love helping improve young minds," she added.
