Nevada tennis falls at Harrisonville

HARRISONVILLE -- The Nevada Lady Tigers tennis team suffered another tough loss on the road Monday, at Harrisonville High School.

Head coach Samantha Short's squad was unable to get much going against the Lady Wildcats, ultimately leading to a 7-2 victory for Harrisonville. The only victories on the night for Nevada came in the No. 4 singles match, in which Nevada's Megan Payne defeated Hannah Eberle by a final score of 8-5 and in the No. 2 doubles match, in which Kierstin Lanham and Elienor Pruitt defeated Danielle Dalton and Patrese Shanks, 8-8 (7-5).

Next on the schedule for the Lady Tigers is Thursday, when they host Carthage, on the courts at Nevada High School.
