NEVC FFA sells mums at Farmers' Market

Northeast Vernon County FFA finished a busy summer, which included serving ice cream at Wilbur's Fireworks display on June 24, attending an officer training workshop and conference in Carl Junction and Springfield, hosting an ice cream social at the Agriculture Education Building on Aug. 13, traveling to Bennett Springs State Park on Aug. 17 for a chapter float trip, and setting up a booth for Chicken Bingo at the Schell City Fall Festival.

The chapter will be selling mums Sept. 21 and 28 at the Vernon County Farmers' Market, as a fundraiser to help cover the cost of attending the National FFA Convention at the end of October.
