Nearly a dozen US Bank Mortgage Office volunteers distributed food to more than 120 Vernon County seniors on Friday as part of a shipment received from Ozark Food Harvest at the Vernon County Senior Center. The volunteers assisted the Senior Center in the set-up, execution, delivery to home-bound clients, and clean-up of the seven tons of food and hygiene products. Each household received an estimated $150 worth of products, or about three laundry baskets full of items, such as juice, bacon, canned goods, rice and pasta mixes, cheese, bread products, tooth paste and tooth brushes.
