Nevada Tae Kwon Do attends awards banquet

Nevada Tae Kwon Do attended the Midwest Tae Kwon Do Association's annual banquet, in Springfield, Oct. 11. They also participated in a tournament in Ozark, Mo., Oct. 12. Pictured are Faith Gilbert, Avian Monroe and head instructor Lee Ogle. Not pictured are Randy Noble and Maicy Monroe. Gilbert placed first in forms and sparring, Monroe placed third in forms and second in sparring, Monroe placed third in forms and first in sparring, and Noble placed first in forms. Through overall points in the entire tournament, Gilbert was awarded the Grand Champion trophy. She was presented with the trophy in a special ceremony by Dave Gordon, at Lamar Tae Kwon Do, Oct. 16.
