Lou Steele donated $10,000 to Bronaugh School District R-7 science department at the Board of Education meeting Thursday.

"We've ordered lab tables and equipment," superintendent Lyle Best said.

In other business, the board members were presented the 2013 audit with revenue up 2.8 percent.

Best said he is looking into the long-term and short-term goals outlined in the CSIP and Facility plans, FEMA grants, bleacher renovations, ball field lights renovations and a phone system update.

"The insurance is having two contractors review the damage," he told the board.

The board members voted 7-0 to accept the CSIP and Facility plans and to pay $300 per player for up to $1,500 per team in the football cooperative agreement.

The junior class also presented its constitution and requested changes to rules at the meeting.
