Murphy-Brown employees donate to Shop With a Cop program

Josh Breshears of the Nevada Murphy-Brown LLC campus presents Nevada Police Chief Graham Burnley with a check to be used for the local Shop With a Cop program during a short presentation held in the city council chambers at 120 South Ash Street on Tuesday. The entire Murphy-Brown campus decided as a group to support the annual Shop with a Cop event in Nevada. Each Nevada Murphy-Brown department was challenged to support this project. The feedmill and warehouse departments raised the most money. A total of $820 was donated for the cause. Shop with a Cop is an opportunity for underprivileged children to interact with police officers in a positive setting by allowing the children to do some Christmas shopping with an officer.
