ADRIAN, Mo. -- The Nevada Tigers wrestling team got back into action Tuesday night, competing in a quadrangular meet, hosted by the Blackhawks of Adrian High School.

In three duals on the night, head coach Devin White's squad went undefeated, trouncing El Dorado Springs by a final score of 78-6 and putting on nearly as dominant a performance against Eldon in a 59-12 victory. The closest dual of the night came against Adrian, when the Tigers picked up a 42-39 victory.

A total of seven Tigers finished the night undefeated, four of which wrestled in all three duals. Those four wrestlers -- Cody Miller, Dayton Miller, Johnathon Ireland and Jacob Johnson -- all won each of their three bouts by pin.

The other three undefeated wrestlers Nevada finished with on the night -- Chaden Brandt, Scott Swink and Trey Pritchett -- all wrestled just twice in the three duals. Pritchett was credited with a third win on the night, however, as he won the 220-pound bout against El Dorado Springs by forfeit.

The other six wrestlers Nevada took to the meet all finished the night with one loss. Cameron Diaz, Morgan Long and Daxtyn Hiestand all finished the night with two pins, while Colten Shrewsbury got his two victories by forfeit and Anthony Franco and Clay Regers each finished with one win by pin and another by forfeit.

Shrewsbury, Diaz, Franco and Regers all finished the night with a loss by pin, as well. Hiestand's lone loss came by decision, against Adrian.

Next on the schedule for White's squad is Friday, when the Tigers head back out on the road to compete in the Harrisonville Holiday Invitational tournament. The opening night of that two-day tournament is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., at Harrisonville High School.
