Nevada residents injured in two accidents

A 17-year-old female and a 73-year-old male, both residents of Nevada, suffered minor to moderate injuries in separate accidents, according to reports by the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Ezra M. Solidum, 17, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo southbound on Route BB two miles south of Nevada Dec. 24 around 6:50 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway and struck an embankment.

She was wearing a safety device, noted the report by Cpl. James E. Wilde.

Solidum sought her own treatment for "minor" injuries, said the report.

Joe L. Fulton, 73, was driving a 2006 Hyundai Sonata in Greene County around 4:30 p.m. Dec. 19 when his vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck an unknown object.

Fulton was wearing a safety device, according to the report by Trooper Chase Stallcup.

Fulton was taken by ambulance to Cox South Hospital of Springfield for treatment of moderate injuries.
