Frontenac tournament seeds released

The seedings have been released for next week's Kansas Army National Guard Raider Basketball Tournaments at Frontenac, Kan., High School.

The Riverton, Kan., Rams are the top-seeded boys' team, with LaCygne-Prairie View the second seed, followed by Oklahoma City's Frederick Douglass High School, Winfield, Kan., McDonald County, Frontenac, Nevada and Fort Scott. Fort Scott's Lady Tigers are seeded sixth in the girls' tournament, after Oklahoma City Classen, Frontenac, Blue Valley Southwest, Webb City and Kansas City's Hogan Prep, with LaCygne-Prairie View seventh and Baxter Springs, Kan., eighth.

The tournament is scheduled Jan. 23-25. The Nevada-Prairie View game is scheduled at 4 p.m., Jan. 23, in the old gym at Frontenac.

Fort Scott's Lady Tigers are to play Blue Valley Southwest at 4 p.m., Jan. 23, in the new gym, followed by the Fort Scott Tigers and Riverton, at 5:30 p.m.
