Nevada eighth grade boys win third straight

CLINTON, Mo. -- The Nevada Tigers eighth-grade boys' basketball A team won its third game in a row and improved to 3-1 on the season by going on the road and beating Clinton, 48-23, Thursday night.
Braden Hinton led all scorers with 20 points in the contest.
The B team completed the sweep with a 38-5 victory. Isaiah Butler led the Tigers' offense in that contest with seven points.
Next on the schedule for Nevada is Monday, when head coach Lance Sargent's squads return home to take on Lamar.
