Hartzler Equipment changes name to Heartland Tractor
Hartzler Equipment Company is changing the name of the company to Heartland Tractor.
Founded in 1977, the farm equipment company offers precision farming technology and expertise. Since then, the locally owned and operated company has been serving new and used farm equipment needs locally and across the Midwest.
"We've always realized that our success is fully dependent on the people we surround ourselves with. It's never been an individual effort. It's about the people in our community, working together," said Lowell Hartzler, president of Heartland Tractor, "not only through our three locations in Harrisonville, Lamar and Nevada, Mo., but also through our relationships with farmers. We've been fortunate to be part of the challenges and successes happening right here in Missouri."
Since its inception, Heartland Tractor has offered Vermeer hay balers. Two years later, they expanded to include mowers, spreaders and other equipment. In 1987, they brought the CASE IH product line to their operation.
"We are constantly looking for ways to help farmers gain better production on their farms with tools they have and tools they need," said Randy Henry, general manager of Heartland Tractor
The name change will help unite the company and serve as a beacon for what the company stands for in the community, said Hartzler.
