Class 4, District 12 basketball seeds announced
The Nevada Lady Tigers are the third seed and the Tiger boys were seeded sixth in the Class 4, District 12 basketball tournaments, March 3-8, at Carl Junction High School.
Webb City's Lady Cardinals received the top seed, with McDonald County second, followed by Nevada, Carl Junction, Carthage and Monett. Carl Junction's Bulldogs received the top seed in the boys' tournament, with McDonald County second and Carthage third, followed by Monett, Webb City and Nevada.
Two girls' first-round games are planned March 3, when Carl Junction takes Carthage, with the winner to play Webb City and Nevada takes on Monett, at 7:30 p.m., with the winner to play McDonald County in the semifinals March 6. The two boys' first-round games are scheduled March 4, with the Monett-Webb City winner to play Carl Junction and Nevada to challenge Carthage, with the winner to meet McDonald County in the semifinals March 6.
Both championship games are scheduled for March 8, with the girls game at 1 p.m., followed by the boys' title game at approximately 2:30 p.m.
